​Requirements:
  • A follower of Jesus Christ interested in pursuing ministry preferably in Children’s or Youth Ministry.
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Preference would be to live in the community of Hesston
  • Intern must fill out application, safety policy and provide information so background check can be secured.
  • Intern should be available from end of May through mid-August.​
Expectations:
  • Arrive to work on time and complete work as needed
  • Be available to attend all three summer camps for Kids, Jr. High and High School
  • Communicate with youth, attend their events and spend time building relationships (pool, summer league games, etc.)
  • Organize, Promote and Lead an event for youth
  • Meet weekly with Pastor to evaluate and discuss week ahead
  • Help with recruiting and logistics for Fall Ministry programs (Student Equip)
  • When not attending camps, 5 hours a week will be devoted to the internship
  • This is a paid internship and will be paid evenly throughout the summer.
